I apologize for the late response on this one. For some reason, I did not get an alert regarding this comment and just happened to see it now while answering another question. I'm sorry I unable to provide the information you require. I did not source the stools. I actually contacted the client in order to find out where they were purchased. I didn't feel it was appropriate to pressure them for more information that perhaps they did not want to share. My suggestion would be to speak with the staff at Briers. If you show them an image, they may be able to identify the stools for you.

Of course, no problem! One unit is a SubZero 36" combination fridge/freezer. The other unit is a SubZero 27" all refrigerator unit. The model numbers have changed now, but the same basic configuration is still available.

Thank you for being so generous with your design! Could you please comment on the thickness of the surround countertops as well as the island waterfall? Thank you in advance!

The countertops, including island, are all 2" thick. This is a bit unusual for a couple of reasons:

1. stone slab material typically comes in 2cm (3/4") and 3cm (approx 1.5") thickness. Countertops are usually either 2cm thick or 3cm thick (either full slab or with 3/4" slab doubled at the edge to appear thicker).

2. In addition, most under-counter appliances are manufactured to fit a minimum 34.5" high space. Because standard kitchen counter height is 36", this means that you normally need to cut a notch out of your cabinet to accommodate those appliances.

In this case, the client was set on 2" thickness and no notches, so we did increase the total counter height to 36.5". If you are thinking of going this route, I recommend you mock something up to get the feel for a 36.5" countertop. Although it's only a 1/2" difference, we are so conditioned to using 36" counters, I find it to be a noticeable difference and you want to be sure your work surfaces are comfortable for your use.
