Switch it up. We don't believe in matchy matchy design and it will look great. If you feel you need consistency in the room, you can have your lighting trim, faucet and cabinet hardware in the same finish (we will occasionally switch this up depending on the style/size of the space).

Love the oil rubbed bronze. Just know that it WILL change. The result depends on the underlying material (brass, zinc, steel, whatever). It tends to hold up better indoors. Consider doing a split finish for bathroom doors. Use satin nickel inside the bathrooms but oil rubbed bronze outside. Most good manufacturers will split the hardware for you. You order it Style number ORB/SN or BN (whatever they call their brushed nickel.) The hinges are another matter. If the door opens into the bathroom, then the hinge knuckles will be inside the bathroom. Typically, I'd say either use satin nickel or paint-grade hinges. You will see the hinges themselves when the door is open. That's one you'll just have to decide for yourself.

I am also facing the same issue. My front door hardware and outside lights are oil rubbed bronze. So are the lights in my dining room and over the kitchen island. My KD said to go with the oil rubbed hardware for the sliding door in the kitchen as well as the knobs/pulls and sink faucet. The downstairs powder room will be chrome/brushed satin as will the bathrooms upstairs. The upstairs ceiling fans are brushed satin so my problem is also what to do about the upstairs door hardware. Can I do oil rubbed for the downstairs and brushed satin upstairs?

I think it is perfectly fine to mix metals with hardware and lighting fixtures.. have been reading quite a lot about this subject in publications, most recently Coastal Living.. adds visual interest.. does not have to be "matchy matchy"
