The heads, while discomfiting to me personally, have a certain beauty. The levitating fox?

    Yikes!

I held back a laugh until I saw the bear in the planter.

    Vomitous.

Reminds me of Cabela's Outdoor Store. "The Dead Zoo" as my kids call it.

You knowâ¦dead animals need dusting too. I wonder who gets that job. Imagine all the dust particles in all that fur (and me with allergies). If I ever won the lottery and were to buy this house as is for my dad he would be the happiest man alive. I am a bit curious about the present owner though because those TVâÂÂs are way too small. No self-respecting outdoors man would have those TVâÂÂs. One must take time out from animal slayings to watch hunting, fishing and sports programs. For this you need very large tvâÂÂs that take over the entire room.Maybe the owner just bought the dead animals and didn't kill them himself. Something does not add up.

Once knew a famous (think all.over.the.world famous) wilderness guide who added a room the size of a triple width/triple depth family room to contain his trophy animals (and yes, mtnrdredux, huge TVs). You think the listing photos are creepy? Ghastly in person and shudder inducing. Not sure whether it was design décor or advertisement. Didn't matter. Couldn't wait to get out of there.

There's a mountain lion hanging out in our area. I wish the owner's of that house would come get it and add it to their collection. :)

Now that is somebody who took a theme and COMMITTED to it. My personal favorite is the mountain goat in it's natural environment.

Wouldn't that room just smell awful? lol There's a steak house around here I hate to go to because there are no seats free of icky dead animals hanging above you as you try to enjoy your meal. Just gross.

Oh, my...that's a little OTT, eh?

    The stuff(ing) of nightmares.

Thanks for the laugh, Pal. The property IS guaranteed to make an impression.

    LOL

Walking into that room with no lights on would be a bit scary! I'd be very jumpy in that space

Now that's an ultimate expression of personal style! But I wouldn't be comfortable living in this home.

I knew a guy who was a high school biology teacher. He had animal print upholstery and photo posters of jungle fauna all over his place. Lol.

I wonder if any of them are animated. I mean, after awhile, wouldn't you get bored with them just looking at you? Maybe the bear talks....

OMG. Really, I have no words. Just fantasies about all those creatures coming back to life and letting the shooter have it. Nom nom nom.

I could see this décor in a hunting lodge in Alaska. Yes, far away where I would never look at it!

I couldn't buy it - the energy in that house, even with all that removed would never feel right.

Based on the flooring and ceiling differences, it appears that these are three different rooms - are they all three in the same house???

    Yowsa!

I wonder if he has a trophy wife...

    The homeowner(s) clearly have issues.

    Kathie's comment is hilarious.

Notice the custom track lighting to spotlight the "artwork" in the first photo. As the realtors say, a little too taste specific.

On a heavier note, the owner is psychotic. What type of person wants to look at the trophies of things they've killed...serial killers perhaps? Sick people, imo. Really creepy.

A bit much for one house, but obviously hunting is his passion sport. The second photo made me giggle - the goat next to FP. But the 3rd picture with the bears, they are hysterical.

I wonder if he has a trophy wife...

She's hanging over the MBR bed.

Whether the hunting theme or stuffed animals give you the willies or not the rooms are annoyingly cluttered. They remind me of my great Grandmother's apartment who covered nearly every flat surface with knickknacks. She even displayed those little figurines that came inside the Red Rose tea boxes.

I guess the homeowner invested a lot of money in hunting and taxidermy and felt the need to keep his treasures near. All he needs is a wart hog.

    Oh my, that is CREEPY!

That is a LOT of taxidermy. I wonder how they got that grizzly in the room? And that moose is just massive!

I don't mind stuffed animals at all, but that sure is a whole lot of it. I think it could have been displayed better, and I think the rest of the decor doesn't really do it justice. Which is a shame, because that's a LOT of $$$$ in those rooms.

I know a "famous" hunter, and I always wondered what his house looked like. Maybe this is it?

The second picture did make me laugh. It looks as if all the animals are turned to watch the tv. Speaking of the tv, I'm surprised there isn't a big honking 60-incher in there.

LOL Kathie738p ... was too busy being grossed out to think of that, that is funny right there, don't care who you are : ^ ) ...

Did anyone notice the rug over the sofa? I might covet that as it looks like the "real deal".

I'd love to see the reaction of someone breaking in to steal things! What a surprise they'd get!

What is it that's said about a man when he gets a sports car when/if he's having a mid- life crisis and buys a sports car? I think the same applies to this 'collection'.

    :::: whispering ::::

    I see dead critters.

Lions and tigers and bears...oh my!

bad looks aside, who cleans that mess and how? there's no way that's a healthy living space.

Aw, poor animals. I bet he's a real jerk.
