That's a pretty stone! I really liked it. Can you show us what your slabs look like?

Breezy- First of all, I LOVE your kitchen! I really wanted marble but with DH and two boys and a constant houseful of red wine drinking girlfriends my husband said no way. So, the holy grail search for affordable light granite has been underway. DH and I went the other day and we narrowed it down to one lot of the white galaxy. Going back this a.m. with my mom (DH is color blind and of no help) to make the final selections. Will post pictures when I get home if I can figure out how to do it.

post pics when you find THE one!!! We want to see. You know we love pictures.

(my ds is colorblind. I find it can work in your favor sometimes....when I did the hall bath I never mentioned the colors of all the accessories in the room...they were a very pale pink with gray walls. pale pink towels, soaps, pink mouthwash, etc.). Then his girlfriend spilled the beans and told him that HIS bathroom was pink. I think he thought all the towels were white. The funny part was he is always complaining that the house is blah, all gray....well it is, but since he is color blind, I always told him he couldn't complain. )
