Or if you already have your dream backsplash post that too.

This is one I would love to have. My kitchen is modern and I have circles throughout my condo. This one would be perfect and I just love that its glass. Ahh but whoever made it, is in Australia.

So lets see yours.

    Jodi_in_so_calif's! I love this backsplash!

Working on getting mine! It's my most exciting kitchen reno part (I hardly care about my cabinets, just so long as they are functional and I am hoping they look all right!)

This is the major piece I am working around:

The color is a little off, but in person, it looks edible and makes me very happy!!!

Something from Bisazza Mosaic or Hakatai -- and usually I am not this baroque.

Main feature tile for behind the stove: Arizona Tile's Medici Bronze Coppia. It's featured on it's Residential Kitchen page.

I thought I liked mine Buehl, but that one is beautiful.

I love the fire and Ice backsplash as well (the one Buehl Posted), but Nursetammi, I love that too.. Would you mind sharing what it is?

We just finished our kitchen renovation recently so mine is the one we just had put in - carrara marble tiles. Wish it went all the way up to the ceiling, but it was poor planning ahead on our part.

I love this.... $195.00/sq. foot. Oh well, one can dream.
Wouldn't it be pretty with soapstone counters?

This beautiful slate & glass, it's Walker Zanger, I think. I love teh yummy colors - the photo doesn't do it justice.

Not sure it will ultimately go with my home kitchen, but maybe in our cabin.

Nursetammi, the scabos is gorgeous, infact I did mine becuase of yours! What grout did you use please?

Nursetammi - Count me in as a fan! What tile is that?

Wish I could post a picture of it, but I didn't save it. Someone recently posted a picture of their backsplash, from Ann Sacks, possibly whitish onyz. It was too dieeeeee for. (If someone can recall and post it, I would be so happy---just to droll over the picture.)

A dream backsplash for moi would be Cat_mom's! Sorry, you'll have too do a search for it.

I knew as I was scrolling down that's what u meant mari!

(I posted pics earlier on the backsplash for contemporary kitchen thread if anybody really wants to see it).

Anything by Ann Sacks...I particularly love this one and would have loved it with opal and matte white inside the rectangles.{{!gwi}}From Granite

    ooh firsthouse_mp--I like your picks!!!

Thanks Catmom...I love Prill's too. Dollfanz, thanks for posting a fun "wishlist" thread.

    Anymore?

Looks like glass, but is not.

Nice one Nursetammi....can you give us the name for the tile and also grout for peytonroad...

    Thanks GillyLily,
It's called Scabos Travertine Tile, Here it is on another wall at a distance. I bought it from a tile place called Topcu in the Atlanta area. Sorry about the size of the pic, I am trying to resize but not having much luck at the moment.

I am so sorry I did not see all the questions. Thank you so much for your comments buehl, peytonroad, nancyrph, and newhomeowners. After I finished my kitchen I took a break from everything and stopped checking in every night with Garden Web, but I am back, you just can't stay away too long :) now I realize how much I missed all you guys.

The grout I used is called Haystack, a decorator friend of mine said it was very universal and looked good with so many tiles. I love it.

Peytonroad, I am honored, please share a pic for me. I'd love to see your kitchen.

Nursetammi--I used haystack too! So funny the things that get me excited!

Firsthouse, I love the one on the left too, do you know the name of it?

David if it's not glass, what is it???

lzydogrnch, it's crystal Ãcido from Porcelanosa. The glazing is what makes it look so glass like.

doonie -- what is that gorgeous tile and where did you find it?

Search function isn't working right now because of the missing posts, but my favorite backsplash is the mosaic "tree of life" that someone posted here a while back. Remember it?? It was all hand made by an artist and really stunning!! There was also another tree done in mosaic in a really contemporary kitchen. Dang I need to start saving links to things. Both of those tree mosaics were just stunning!! I'll see if I can find them once the pages are restored.

I smile every time I walk into my new kitchen.
This backsplash is one of my very favorite things.

starfish, it's Brittany & Coggs tile. I am very excited to see it installed!

    Dollfanz,

"The one on the left" in Firsthouse's post is one of the Studio Moderne tiles, which I think are a Walker Zanger exclusive (not sure, though). You can see the whole collection in the Walker Zanger catalog.

Yes, it's Walker Zanger...anything they make is totally awesome. I love all of their tiles. In another life I will be able to afford it as a kitchen backpslash! They also have a circle version that I was trying to "sell" to Sochi and her modern, lovely kitchen with circle theme.

I love Prill's choice too. There are also some Oceanside glass that are gorgeous mosaics with pretty variations and shinyness. Heath Ceramics has some white/creamy tile with a more abstract background.
