Pebble Sheen Ocean Blue

Anyone have this color and/or pictures? I think this is the color I am going to choose.

I have it, but have no pictures. As you may know, almost any plaster color will have about 50 different looks, depending on the lighting. Ours can look black in the late afternoon hours, and almost light blue in direct noon sun. Most of the time it is Ocean Blue, deep and rich. We could not love it more. Such a beautiful color.

On the pebbletec website, the pictures are pretty good of ocean blue. Some have a green tint, that is not accurate. No green in our pool.

It has the shells already in it. My wife loves the shells. In retrospect we wish we had added another bag of the shells.

The only negative is that it gets hot fast. I swear our pool would be 98 degrees right now...but I have a chilller. Once it got to 93, I took it down to 89, much better. It has been said many times on this forum that dark bottom pools do not get any hotter than light pools. Not true. If you have lots of direct sun, and Ocean Blue or darker, you better like your pool hot.

Hook 'Em, chilcat! Thanks for the response. I finally got to see Ocean Blue in person and I LOVE it! I will definitely be getting it. It was between that or Turtle Bay and I found the latter to be too green. I'll look into adding more shells.

Austin is very hot and I discussed a cooling system with our PB and he said if I run the water features at night to circulate it, this will cool it drastically. I love that idea too since the pool is off the master bedroom so I think that will be peaceful to hear! We also have full shade by 4pm. I don't like hot pools so we may invest in a chiller if his tip doesn't work.

We put in Ocean Blue Pebble Sheen a year ago and love it. The shells make it truly unique and it sparkles in the sunlight. I think the natural rock is easier to take care of than plaster, as I don't add nearly as much acid or chlorine. It feels great, it's not rough at all, and it won't snag your swimsuit. Just make sure to get the real stuff by PebbleTec, not one of the many knock-offs. Friends with knock-off brands are disappointed when compared to ours.

Please help...!!! I am trying to figure out which pebble sheen to go with. I am leaning towards ocean blue and turtle bay. The pool will be shallow, 3'6" to 5' then back to 4'. I was told the color would differ from a shallow pool to deep pool. Was wondering if anyone out there has a sport pool with these two colors. If you can, can you please post a photo or give me your input on them. I would like the water to look a deep dark blue. Thanks so much, your help is greatly appreciated!

My PebbleSheen is finished. Day two of pool filled and it’s Teal Green. I am flipping out! I have looked at hundreds of photo and visited a real pool in our area done in Ocean Blue. Ours looks nothing like the pools I have seen. I didn’t want a green pool. How can this be? Help?? Your thoughts??

Can you post a picture of your pool. We are planning on getting Ocean Blue. Does your water still look Teal Green?
