Cabinetmaker just came for final measurements and confirmation of design. Shortened the peninsula a couple inches to make sure we have adequate clearance for moving bodies and appliances. Decided to put partitions under sink for storing Stages cutting board and tray (I'm not using the basket it comes with, the garbage pull-out is going to under that ledge).
Old "bodykeepers" (our nickname for the beloved Subzero's) are sitting at the curb, waiting for recycling and rebate pick-up. The new 29.1 CF GE SxS is so far meeting our needs, but I believe a garage freezer is in our immediate future. The SZ's had a glossy black door, my 16 y/0 DD's main complaint about the new stainless frig is that she can't check her hair in the morning by looking at the frig . . . .
There are pencil marks on the wall where the frig is to be recessed, more tape on the floor. Potential buyer for old cabs, if my remodel man can get the counter off of the particle board bases without damaging them. Demo starts 4/19, and cabinet install scheduled for 5/3. It's happening!
