Has anyone purchased Comphy Co. sheets?

Last week we rented a small pre-1900 home for a few days. The house was fab and had been in the owner's family. It was decorated with antiques and family finds. We slept on an antique bed - one of those tall beds - that had been converted to a queen size. Wonderful mattress, mattress pad and sheets. Oh those sheets. Upon departure we were to strip the bed and leave the bedding on the bed, leave towels, etc. in shower. So of course as I stripped off those sheets I am looking for a brand. Those sheets were so silky. I've bought some nice sheets before but these just felt SO good. I was surprised to see they were 100% polyester microfiber! I assumed they were a high count cotton. The brand is comphy company. I found them on-line. Apparently they first sold only to B&B's, inns, etc. and can be purchased through these establishments. They can also now be purchased online.

I'm thinking of ordering some and just wondered if anyone here has them? If so, what do you think? I believe they are guaranteed for x number of washings. I would think the ones we slept on had been washed frequently since the house is a rental. Thanks!!

I would not recommend Comphy sheets, they trying to pass made in china cheap sheets as they own brand but the quality is like many cheap microfiber bedding and spa blankets. Plus No returning if you wash them. (Do not read the reviews on their site as they only publish the 5 stars ones, the rest is ignored. When you have your own website you can do that, that's why reviews on a third party site are more legit, they do not have a Google listing but they do have a Yelp business listing so you can read what customers are really saying )

We have some Spalena sheets which are supposed to be very similar (or perhaps identical). We bought the first set a few years ago at Costco, and they are absolute workhorses (and amazingly soft). They were our only set for several years. I finally purchased another set online, and these are slightly lighter. They did have the option for the original thicker ones as well. I went with the cheaper. They aren't bad, just not quite as nice.

I love the Comphy sheets and did the same taking a bed apart to get the name. You gave to be careful on Amazon because they change the spelling and they are not the same. They are a bigger and wish they sold for platform beds. I tried this Brooklyn’s brand and they were wonder but found they needed ironing unless you immediate take out of dryer when it stops. So I’m going back to Comphy sheets.

I was going to purchase several of their products until I saw that the shipping was over $30 (!) plus almost 2 weeks shipping time. That didn't sit well with me, I passed. I also had a hunch (and was correct after reading the fine print) that returning anything was going to be expensive and a big PITA.

I decided to buy some highly rated sheets, since I've never done that in 47 years of marriage. I believed the hype for these sheets, and therefore was so disappointed that they didn't fit my king bed. The fitted sheet does not lay flat because it is way too big for mattress. As for the top sheet, I could wrap it around 2 king size mattresses. I have discussed this with the complaint department at Comphy. In all honesty, I washed the sheets first because for the price I thought I'd never have a problem. I was wrong. I was told that if I washed the sheets ,I couldn't return them, even if they didn't fit the bed. I was told that I should have measured my mattress. I have never had a problem getting a king sheet set that didn't fit the mattress, and I couldn't believe how badly these sheets fit. Then I was told I could return them, at my expense, and have them altered to fit my mattress, at my expense, and I would also have to pay to have them set back to me. I have never been so disappointed, not only in the product, but the company’s complete indifference to my problem. I hope whoever decides to buy these sheets, either measures them and hope they fit, or, personally, don’t buy them at all.

That is a very disheartening experience. I am sorry you had to go through that. They should have stood behind their sheets and at the very least, sent you a return shipping label. Sheesh. You could consider trying to escalate to management as hopefully they will step up to the plate. Wishing you luck.
