Here's another recipe from my clippings file:

Roated Broccoli with Sesame Dressing

1/2 lb large broccoli flowerets including 3 inches of the stem

1 1/2 tbls olive oil

2 tblspoons fresh lemon juice

1 tsp Oriental sesame oil

2 tsp soy sauce

1 1/2 tbls vegetable oil

1 tsp sesame seeds, toasted

1/2 tsp ground ginger

1/4 tsp minced garlic

A pinch of sugar

In a bowl toss the broccoli with the olive oil until it is coated well and roast it in a jelly-roll lpan in a preheated 500 degree oven, turning it occasionally with tongs, for 10 to 12 minutes, or until it is crisp-tender. While the broccoli is raosting, in a blender blend the lemon juice, the sesame oil, the soy sauce, the vegetble oil, the sesame seeds, the ginger, the garlic and the sugar until the dressing is smooth. Transfer the broccoli to a serving dish and pour the dressing over it.

Serves 2.

My notes: Unless running the stove for something else, making this is kind of silly, as you use far too much fuel. Question: Would grilling the broccoli make more sense

The amount of lemon juice is far too much, and it overpowers the other flavors. If making again, cut it at least in half.
