RECIPE: Swiss Roll

Some time ago, when somebody was asking about Trifle recipes, I mentioned that I made mine with a Swiss Roll. I cheat and buy mine, but I've just found a recipe and a nice picture of one. It's nice as a cake, and is perfect for trifle, when sliced and a pretty glass bowl lined with it before being filled with custard.

Something really good for a Bake Sale! Easy to make, too!
No fussing with any icing or frosting...just dust with the confectioners' sugar. Years ago when my children were little and in elementry school, I regularly made a jelly roll filled with plum jam for the bake sales. It was always one of the first items to go!
