I don't have a bread machine.....will the same ingreds work when kneading by hand. The linked recipe calls for not adding the rye flour until the second kneading. What'd ya think about combining the rye and whole wheat flour and then adding the yeast mixture.

I didn't look at the directions, just the ingredients sounded so good & didn't realize it was a bread machine recipe. I think you could mix the flours just fine.
