I knew this German lady at work that once made these yeast rolls with meat mixture in them. They were eaten at room temp and kept well, she said. Is anyone familiar with these or better still, know how to make them? They sound like they would be good to take for quick meal on a long road trip. My mom used to make empanadas (turnovers) for when we traveled, we didn't eat in restaurants (too poor) but they were filled with fruit or pumpkin or sweet potato. I googled for the recipe and I could find no real references for these.
