Hi - I'm looking to use cherry tomatoes in salsa I'm going to can. Are there any recipes that specifically call for cherry tomatoes? If not, can I just cut up and use them in place of other types? Mostly I have Sungold, but a few other varieties as well.

Also, not sure it matters, but I may need to freeze some of them before I am able to use them. Not sure if that makes a difference.
