About five years ago, I borrowed a recipe book from the library where I found a delicious low-fat dish including yellow peppers, onions, bread, and chicken broth. Not only was it delicious, but each serving had only 300 calories (or fewer).

The problems now: 1. I did not write down the recipe or the book title; 2. the book has not been on the shelves in my library since the following summer. I think the author, a woman, may have lived in Vermont, but I am not completely sure. Moreover, although the book was in English, the name of the recipe may have been in French: Panade de piments jaunes et d'oignons.

August is coming and, with it, plenty of colorful peppers. So, if anyone has this recipe, I'd love to put it on the menu a nice summer evening. And I'd love to have the info about the book as well (author and title). Thank you.
