Patti's Baked Beans

1 small pk dried Navy beans
1/2# bacon or ham
1med onion, chopped
1/2c brown sugar
1c maple syrup
2T dry mustard
1/2tsp pepper
2tsp salt
2c boiling water
Soak beans overnight and pre-cook. Line bottom of bean
pot with half of ham, all of onion and beans. Mix remaining
ingredients together and pour over beans to cover. Top with
remaining ham. Bake covered at 350� for 5-6 hours adding more
liquid as necessary.
