RECIPE: poppyseeds

I was given a large amount (about 2 to 3 cups) of poppyseeds. Does anyone have any recipes that use them that they will share with me? TIA!

I agree with Ginger, use them holiday baking. BUT, get them into the freezer as the can go rancid!

If you want to use a lot of them, make poppyseed danish, kolake or coffee cake or filled cookies using a poppyseed filling.
I have linked to the recipe for one filling below. I'm not very good at kolakes, but I'll bet there is s Czech here somewhere who will post their grandmother's recipe.
