Our new house (currently under construction) has a 26 foot wide of sliding glass doors (9 foot high) that lead out from the lounge and kitchen area into the patio area. The ceiling height is 10 feet. The patio is approx 26 foot wide and 20 foot deep. The first half of the patio area is under cover (from the storey above) and the second part of the patio is out in the open (ie, no ceiling).

We are using tectonic timber flooring ( http://www.tectonicflooring.com/timber-flooring-colour-range.php in the hornblende color) throughout the first level of the house.

FYI, we are using the tectonic product because its capable of being used with in-screed hydronic floor heating systems without any temperature restrictions typically associated with engineered timber floors.

My question is what tile should i use in the patio area. At the moment my wife and I are considering bluestone (2 feet x 2 feet) square tiles and cream limestone/flagstone tiles. But, you suggestions and comments are most welcomed.
