This is my mother's recipe for fish batter. It's light and crispy. One woman who tried this recipe said it was surprising delicious. She had tried many batter recipes but nothing like this one.. this one was going to be her batter recipe from now on. She tried it with chicken too. She also mentioned that one could add some spices to it too.

1 cup beer
