LOOKING for: Coconut Macaroons

I am not a member of most of the forums here so this is the only one that i can ask this question on. My mom loves Coconut Macaroons. They are her favorite cookie and I have tried twice in the last couple years to make some that she likes. I have made the ones that use condensed milk and egg white and another similar recipe but they are never what she likes. She finally said that the kind she likes are the ones that are more cake like. I am assuming that they have some flour in them. Anyone know of a recipe that is more cakey than just coconutty. LOL I know that sounds funny. My mom is terribly hard to please and she has done SO much for me this year through my illness i want to get something right with her. Thanks in advance to whomever can help.

I've looked through all my cookbooks & don't have anything other than what you've already tried....did find this on the net that has 1/4 cup of flour???

If Tricia's doesn't work, check out the one below. I've never made a bad recipe from it. By the way, once registered you can post at any THS forums.

This is weird.... any other time i have tried to post a message on any other forum but Harvest it wouldnt let me. I just tried it tonight for S&G. I wonder if i can post on any of the forums i frequent?? That would be nice.
Soooo anyway i will try the recipe Ginger posted, thanks to both of you though.

That makes my day.... there have been times I have wanted to post a reply and didnt. I will be on here even more.. that may not be a good thing. hehe

Kimmi, I'm glad to see you here. I thought maybe you were just having some trouble registering, several people have mentioned that.

I'm looking forward to seeing you more in other places too.
