I just use my basic French bread recipe......and roll flat......cut into strips....roll in olive oil..., sprinkle with coarse salt....maybe some garlic.....herbs and bake 375 until browned.
Reminds me.....one of my grand children christmas things is bread sticks....
I make that basic, food processor dough.....and cut into pieces.....roll between my hands.....dip into melted butter and into cinnamon sugar and bake on a bread stick pan.
I was just looking for a link to buy a bread stick pan and can't find one! Panic!!! It's an aluminum pan, perforated to crisp the bread and sort of a zig-zag to put the twists of dougn on...
AARGH.....don't tell me they are no longer made!!
