Spray paint! Find the color of red that you like in spray paint, then paint a few of those picture frames on your bookshelf that red. You could also hit Goodwill for some inexpensive vases and put a coat of red paint on them (or in them). I saw some that were gorgeous done in spray paint on HGTV a few days ago.

The picture hanging beside the shelves might look nice if you gave it a black or red frame.

I could see some wall words above the entertainment area in red, or a combo of red and black. That would look nice. Also, an area rug with the combination of colors you are using would be good.

You need to work the tan from your carpet into your accessories unless you can find an area rug that covers the entire carpet. Pillows with red and black as the main colors and tan as an accent would do that nicely.

Good luck.

You might find more red options as fall approaches. I think the decor right now leans toward summer colors. My daughter's sun room/office has a dark red plate and a clear glass vase with red berries, both of which she got at Target. Gordmans is also a good place to check for pottery/vases. They have a lot in many colors.

How about checking out Etsy.com or Overstock.com?

Perhaps Target online?

Pier 1 carries a good bit of red decor. And they have some decorative plates/platters that would look on your shelves.

It's so frustrating when you have something specific in mind and you can't fins it or the stores just don't seem to be carrying that color. Have you tried Hobby Lobby? Marshall's? TJ Maxx? Sorry if these are all repeats! I bought a gorgeous oxblood pot at Target some years ago - not in the accessories area but in the plant/greenery section. It goes with a variety of decors.
