I think it's very sweet just the way it is. Will you have an inner border between the butterfly blocks and the granny squares, or do the blocks fit together as is?

Thanks Lois, the blocks fit together as is cause they are 12" & 8" blocks. I still need to put the antennas on the butterflies.

I like the layout you have shown.....except I see the 3 blue granny squares in the middle of each row (bottom-left-top) going in the wrong direction....and something odd with the second block down on the right side (maybe it is just the pic)
This is going to make an adorable quilt!!!!

Thanks Marsha, when I hand sew the blocks together I will rotate the blocks so their seams are correct, so that they interlock correctly, and the 2nd block on right that is just a bubble in my comforter on my bed :-) I was in a rush to get the blocks laid out and take a pic before hubby came back in the room to lay on the bed and watch tv last night. Thanks for your input.

I think the orange keeps it from looking too feminine. It works, bright and cheerful and lovely.
