Where would it be used, next to what other furniture or colors, etc?

I had a three-panel covered with faux ostrich with nailhead detail. I use it as a headboard with my queen bed.

What about caning, or bamboo?
Below is a design you could apply to the panels.

Here is a link that might be useful: caning

Will you see both sides where you'll be using it or will it be against a wall?
I love Annz idea. I think I'll be using that on the doors to our master bath. Thanks!

Would be using it to block a kitchen opening, and since I always use neutral walls, the color would not be so important. It would be covered on both sides, and therefore could be different on each side. The bamboo one from annz is very interesting and something I wouldn't have thought of. Thanks for your ideas. Keep 'em coming.

There's always stained glass too and with all the glass tiles you could do a mosaic on a piece of plain glass cut to fit the opening.

Along the same lines as the bamboo would be some kind of natural branches, perhaps birch or white birch. The natural shape of the branches would keep the screen from being completely solid, and would add a great texture.

Another choice would be metal panels such as the metal sheeting/screening used for radiator covers. An example, although you can find some at your local home center. Paint to change the metal finish color.

les917: Being a nature lover, your idea sounds interesting, but I have to wonder about application. How would you suggest that could be done? TIA
