I really like them both. In a vacuum - i.e. buying the lamp and building the house around it I probably like the second one because I like rustic but - I think the first one goes better with your house and is really nice too. The glass shade and style fit nicely. The one you have is fine, perhaps a little dated, a little small. I think this top one will be a nice improvement. If you want more excitement you might want to try finding a lamp (similar style and glass but in black?) and other ways to accent with black - that goes with your roof and the the darker bricks.

I really like the first one- very updated, pretty simple, but quite attractive. I think it will compliment your house without stealing the show.

I like the first one also! You will love the size. We did the same to our old fixtures. We went with a larger style and I love it. I think the first one will stand out more and you need that since you only have one. Your front door is sure pretty. It looks like the light fixture will match your hardware on the dorr also!

Cool! The first one is the least expensive and, you are right Gracie, it does complement the storm door handle.

I like the first one, but would do a darker finish to compliment the dark accents in the brick and the color of the siding.
