Alas, we wound up not installing it and using something else instead. Sold it to an ecstatic buyer on eBay. From what I could tell just by handling it, it was a very heavy, well-made piece. Gorgeous finish. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Thanks, peanut -- why did you chose to pass on it if you don't mind my asking?

It was purely stylistic - we went a lot more vintage than I'd originally thought we could, and needed something with a different style & finish.

PS: just to reassure you, we decided we needed the Kohler Essex in bronze instead of the Master Gournet, although I will forever regret not having a pulldown at the prep sink. The Kohler is decidedly lesser quality than the Blanco, but so be it. The Essex handles have a self-serve quality that certain denizens of our home have appreciated:

PS: not to horn in on Aliris' thread, but if anyone ever sees a faucet just like the Essex, one-hole with paddle handles AND a pulldown spout, I will give you my undying love for the tip ...
