My husband and I just bought an old house and are in the planning stage of our reno. ( Kitchen & bathrooms). Just got a quote from a Custom Kitchen design place for ...22,000 ( cabinets + install). This is white painted, dove tailed, soft close etc. Also includes a Banquette in the kitchen. The kitchen would be U shaped with cabinets around the perimiter. The kitchen is not very big 11x17. so about 30-35 linear ft, i think. How does this pricing sound to you all? I am sure we can probably achieve the look with non-custom if we put some more ( or lots) time into it and would be more budget friendly but don't have the time/patience at this point to go through that and like the idea that they will take care of everything. Any thoughts would help?

We would like to keep the reno on the lower end of mid to high range (keeping the big picture of overall house value,location,lifestyle etc)? Does the pricing sound ok? We do live in Canada ( Toronto) so pricing is a little different. Any Canadians out there for comparables. Thank you in advance for feedback.
