Vase I did awhile ago

I am trying to make myself paint. Found this vase moving stuff away from walls. Where the flash dot is is bare vase with the tiles swirled around. I don't like that much color contrast between the oranges and purples now but when I put flowers in it, at least I can kind of turn it to a side that matches the color of the flowers.

OH, OH, OH, how pretty is THAT - I LOVE your colors and LOVE how you left part of the beautiful purple showing, and LOVE how you swirled the tiles in the bare spot. Your painting is PERFECT for this piece. BEAUTIFUL.

I like it myself. That is a good idea actually to use different colors like that so they would match what you put in the vase.

I'm a big fan of leaving some of the pieces with negative space. everything I've done so far, has at least a small area bare, like your vase.
it's very pretty with the type of glass you used.

Oh what a beauty! THe blues look great with the orange! The swirly part is really creative and effective, too.

I think your vase is BEAUTIFUL!! Orange and purple are so in right now. I think your design around the open area is GREAT. Glad you found it in hiding. It deserves a spot of honor. Just beautiful!!!
