I would never have guessed that was a bowling pin! Cool! Oh, it would be awesome mosaiced, don't get me thinking! dh would have a fit if I started bringing home bowling pins, but they would take up less room than a bowling BALL, yup, that's what I'll tell him!

Ohh I LOVE it! I don't know where to get bowling pins either.......and I don't have a car anymore to "store" stuff in. There's always under the beds.....after that,under the sofa.........under the loveseat... :)

Yep - I have a bunch of bowling pins ! I don't have a clue how to make this bottle -- but if I think about it for awhile - I'll figure it out.

I think I can see how it was done. The rounded top of the pin was cut off flat and drilled to hold the top to a decanter in the proper shape.

Then there was glass globs or whatever the round white things are around the neck addded.

It was all painted that wonderful green.

I do not now if the gold stripes are carved out of the pin or just painted on. Then the gold cord glued in three places. Eyes painted on and it is set in a vase that has also been touched with gold paint.I think I have the same vase in a totem in our yard. LOL

Paint the leaves on.
