Yep, I don't see anything backwards about your method either. Usually, for me, if I draw out a pattern, I end up making changes as I go along.

I usually don't draw much -- I sit there with a scissors and a pile of paper and cut things out like paper dolls ~~ LOL . Sometimes I just cut out a bunch of paper shapes - then make something out of them . It's certainly "not by the book" !

That is going to be very pretty. And most times i don't use patterns at all. But when i do i cut them out like you.

Looks good to me. I dont see how your backwards at all!!! I have a question though. Are you going to glue those pieces on top of a mirror or are you going to cut mirror go around the hummingbird and flower. It is very pretty..the frame fits it nicely!!!

You cut your pieces so neatly. I always cut out a piece and during the final cut, I snap off the bottom or something. Guess that is why I haven't done much like that.

Your project for the day!!!! That would take me a month to complete.................! can't wait to see it grouted...very pretty.......wish I could cut glass like you!
