I get my things plated here --- New Dimension plating. I Pack everything up and mail it to them ...they plate it and repack it in the same materials I used and send it back to me with the bill . EASY !!! As for price ,I lost my price list ,but they have a paper with circles on it
( like a bullseye with lots of rings ) - you lay your piece on it,see what ring it fits into and that's the price they charge. The prices start at about $2 and go up to about $6 for an 8" piece. They do an excellent job,too. Here's their website - you can check it out.

When I did craft fairs - the plating is what set mine apart from the rest. No one knows about it - and when someone asks me about it- I give a very vague reply . It's that little "Edge" I need to compete. It's gotten me tons of compliments !

LOL ........ in all seriousness ... it does seem like no one that does stained glass shares their secrets. I guess everyone wants to get that "edge" . It's really too bad - I Was never like this before ... when I first started crafts - everyone would share their sources - it was just "understood and respected "
that people wouldn't compete with each other . It sure has changed . It's gotten cut-throat.
I still spill my guts - to people I know. Why not . I Want my friends to have that edge like I have . My secrets are on open book to you !
