I am thinking now I wish I had not gotten it and used the space for more cabinet space. Tell me u love it and why and uses in your house? Thanks

We use ours for trash! :-)

In previous houses we had the trash under the sink or a trash compactor. The trash compactor made the trash too heavy, and it got too yucky. The bags were expensive, and hard to find, too.

I love our trash pullout...It is located centrally so is handy to the cleanup, cooking, and prep areas. The cans hold more than one we could fit under the sink, and we don't have to deal with the disorganization problems caused by trying to keep cleaning supplies and the trash can under the sink.

Ours has 2 waste cans in it...We use one for trash and one for recycling. The recycling used to sit on the counter by the sink until someone got around (or got forced) to taking it out. I am SO happy to not have that situation any more.

I love not tripping over a trash bin in my kitchen.
I don't have to clean drips and dust from trash bin in my kitchen.
I leave the pull-out open and swipe stuff directly in from the counter.
Recyclable stuff goes in back bin instead of collecting on counter.
I leave a 12-pack soda box in the recyc bin for redeemable cans, so they don't collect on the counter.

    So, I love it. :)

Same here, love mine. Basically the same reasons mentioned above.

No trash can sitting out in the kitchen getting in the way and kicked around. It is located in exactly the right spot, to the left of the sink, and to the right of my main work area. Separate bin for recyclables means they go right into the bin instead of sitting on counter waiting for someone to take them out to the recycle bin.

What is it about yours that you don't like?

I actually have 2 double bin trash pullouts and love them.

One has the front bin for trash and the back bin for returnables(bottles & cans w/ deposit.) It is conveniently located next to the sink near cleanup, cooking, and prep zones. The other is just for recyclables. The front bin is for plastic/glass/metal and the back bin is for cardboard/paper. It is conveniently located near cooking, but out of the way of prep so that others can use it and not mess with meal prep.

I used to not have space for recycling in my kitchen. This is so much better.

We have a counter-height 12" wide unit to save room for more cabinets and love it for all the reasons stated already. We also have an undersink pullout trash unit that we use for pet food. A big bag just tucks right into the can. I love anything that gets stuff off the floor and counters, especially ugly stuff, and keeps them clear for swift and easy cleaning.

If you don't end up loving yours, though, for sure retrofit some drawers or shelves into that space.

I have a single can, big trash pullout that takes a normal white kitchen trash bag and pretty much fills it. The cabinet is a snap to clean because it supports the can at the top - overflow and missed crap at the bottom is pretty non-existent. It holds enough so it doesn't have to be emptied every day.

I have a separate step-on can for recycling and raw vegetable waste goes out to compost.

We have a double bin cabinet in our new kitchen. Love it. So much nicer than a garbage pail sitting out in the kitchen. The back bin is the recyclables, which we previously just had bottles on the floor until someone got around to taking them out.

The only thing that I dislike is that mine holds so much less than a standalone garbage pail did. I find myself having to take out the garbage much more frequently, not to mention using up main more garbage bags.

Still, no way I've give it up.
