My 17 year old cat, Minnie, passed away a couple of weeks ago. I found a little cement statue of a cat I had bought at a flea market for $5.00 last summer and my plan is to go purchase some stained glass of Minnie's colour (she was a turtoiseshell) this weekend.

Do I need to do anything to the cement to prep it for glueing the glass to it? I have always used GE II and would like to use it for this too - can I?
