Ok bama you got me confused. So now I am unable to add pictures to my album on the gwglass site?? So if I want to add a finshed project do I email you a picture of it to put in my album on that site??

I had not heard of any problems so I will check the old posts to see what happened.

No, I haven't been offended by anything, but I know there are concerns from a few about our photo site being taken over by spam, porn, or whatever.

The only way I can prevent that is to take away the advantage of several people having the administrater password. (No more uploading your own photos etc.)I would have to do that for you. I really wanted to get away from that since that would cause a "can't do anything" situation like we had with Mad disappearing.
So there ya have it.
Do you want several people to have the capability to change photo's, upload etc, or just one?(me)
Like I said before, you can still log in with the guest password and see everything, just can't make any changes.

Oh....I will have to go check out that post. I read it when it first started but havent seen it today.

I dont have an issue with emailing you my pics to put in the album, nor do I think you would try to make money off us...I know where your heart is!!!

Sounds like more work for you , but it's for the best . With open links - it's just like inviting weirdo's and freaks to take over. The only weirdo's that should be here - are us REGISTERED weirdos... LOL

Just came back from "would this be helpful". Now I understand. Too bad Pea felt like we wasted her time BUT I personally was dumbstruck to see a link to my personal photo album. That is MINE and I share it ONLY when I want to. BAMA I'm not happy about not being able to download or change out my own photos in the GWGLASS gallery. AND I think that we shouldn't be touching each other's photos (EVER!) IMHO.

I am in the dark about the uprising?
But anyway I just signed in to the site and could with the password, but if I guess right, no uploading any pictures to our own albums?

That is true...I wouldnt be happy if someone changed my picture or put something I made in there album.

Jane- Im sure changing that pic was done innocently and in fun. You realize now you were wrong and have apologized. Hopefully wench accepts that apology (if she is even upset by it at all-so far I havent heard)

I went and looked at the "would this be helpful" and wow, that turned to the dark side fast!!! Im hoping Pea will not hold a grudge for our honest opinions because they were valid and we do have our rights to privacy. She was trying to do a good thing but maybe jumped the gun. We are going to have these uprisings here and there...we are a family (yes an internet family but family non the less) thats what family members do...we argue from time to time. But ya know what....we all get over it...most of the time anyhow.
Those of us that dont will just fade away and we can not do anything about that.

Bama's site is really well done and I like it and I hope it works out. Sometimes too much of a good thing is just too confusing., I wasnt aware of links to our albums being on the other website and I would be concerned about that. Personally I think the whole thing could get too complicated, which it did.

I certainly did not mention the porn thing because of that!! I was more worried Bamas site was opened to the public when we had already decided to keep it between all of us password protected between us. Other than the guest thing.

I SWEAR I had dumped my cookies. What is it I tell every one right off about cookies.Dump them. My computer is set to dump cookies every time I boot.I have a laptop so I shut it down several times a day. Somehow I was able to get into the GWglass members pages through Pea's site. I do not remember how or the order I went in.It was half in the middle of the night I was looking at it. Hubby had to go plow snow early this morning. I just remember clicking back on GWglass and there I was right on the members faces page. From there is was all open to me.

I would not touch someone elses pictures. I was never worried any of us would post porn on someone elses albums. That silly giant lady was NOT porn. I was talking about what happened to Madhabitz site and how sad we all were.

I am sorry if I caused problems for all of us. It was not my intention. I think we all can be trusted. I just had concern when the general public had entrance to our site. All I can think is because Pea's faces page went directly to the faces front page it was always signed in and that left the door open to all the public for the rest of the albums. I am not a computer wiz. Just my guess.

I've decided that hormones are hopping......I've worked with a lot of women in my gainful employment history.......and when ya get a lot of women working together... it seems like they all get on the rag at the same time eventually because of being together for so long......so, there's bound to be some disputes...some red faces, etc....those hormones just boil I tell ya..........ya just gotta let it alone sometimes. And, if I've stepped on someone's toes by being so bluntful...ya just gotta let it go. It's not worth you getting mad, cause I'm not. It is what it is, and it's all good!
