I did see your post on crafts, but nice to have it here in our gallery too.

That was a great way to spruce up what otherwise was a plain cabinet. It turned out great, and your little sign at the top along with the knob just tie it all together nicely.

And that kind of painting is not always easy--up and down on a ladder and trying to hold your palette while you paint. It turned out really nice, and I know you will enjoy it.

Thanks luvs. I've had lots of admirers of my cabinet so far. The kids really love it and 2 friends have stopped by and they noticed and loved it.

The most difficult part was measuring the star and drawing it out straight. ha But up and down the ladder wasn't thrilling either. I put the paint on a paper plate and once it flew out of my hand but soooo luckily it landed face up! Whew. That would not have been good on my carpet!

Instead of using paper plates,or together with paper plates,pick up some of those plastic/melamine plates at the thrift shops or dollar stores,heavier than paper,but not too heavy to handle.I try to get the solid color ones so it will be easier to see where my paint is.

I like the linen closet and the stars you painted on it,Good job.

Good idea Kathi! Thanks for the tip. In the past I've used old pie plates and rinsed them out when I'm done, but since I've been trying to diet have run out of those. ha I'll look this week when I'm at the TS.
