Grape Leaf Vase

I've been so busy that I've not had much time to work on my stuff (it's now "stuff" because after seeing NiceThyme's post I can hardly call my "stuff" art...lol) but here's a candle vase I just finished. I've never done a curved surface before and found this to be a frustrating challenge for me. BUT, the completion time was pretty fast so I can't complain too much. I think I prefer windows over curves though.

Nice job Addiesue. Know what you mean about the curved surfaces. I have a vase that i started prob 8/9 months ago. Is a challenge.

Well you certainly did a wonderful job on it. Looks very elegant. Doncha just love candlelight in something as pretty as that?

Very nice. I love the colors. Yes, round things are a challenge! They started me thinking in new ways. For instance, the first round thing I did was a round birdhouse and it enabled me to use pieces of a big round coffee cup. Now when I see a pretty round vase in a thrift shop, I always envision breaking it up and using the pieces on a clear round vase. Mosaicers view the world in a whole new way.
