Sounds like such great fun, sure wish I was there! TOO dreary and cold here, for sure! BUT...

I AM still planning to go to SLOW's next month, and my mom is too. Yay yippee yahoo!!!

OH MY Gosh that sounds like so much fun!!!!!! I wanna play too....

It was more fun than I have words to describe, and I'm still too tired to chat about it. What could be better than sitting on our terrace together, looking out over the water, listening/watching wonderfully colored birds, boats, whales etc. and mosaicing projects on scrap tiles pulled from the hotel junk pile, begging mortar and using things we all brought, plus stuff we found on the beach? I tell you, this was a real life-enriching experience. Hope some of y'all w/join me again next winter for more of the same.

Oh, it's soooo good to hear from you Slow!
Glad you had a wonderful time. I was worried about your not feeling well.

    Sounds like a great time!!

    SO where are some pictures???????

    Yes, Pictures please!

    Becky

Oh - well YEAH!!! Still not up to snuff, but w/find the camera in the piles of unpacking and download some. Suppose they should be on the conversation side????? I didn't take many, and perhaps none of our art, but Cindy loohoo did, so they get back tomorrow, and w/be showing and telling.

Heck w/which side. I'll post the link to what I've downloaded. There's more but I've spent waaaay too much time on the 'puter today, so here's what I have. The nicho is what I bought in Bucerias, and hung it this morn., as well as GYPSIE's switchplate - her gift to me. The bruised face is from a fall N.O.T. connected to Margaritas. I missed a tiny rise near my room and hit the tiled floor right on my eyebrow area, just as we were about to leave for Bucerias. Thank the Lord, there was no more damage than a few body bruises/soreness and hurt pride.

Well bless your heart ..what a shiner it almost marches your pretty blue shirt...you better rest up this week..Love your pictures,if I'm still alive and kicking I'm on the list next year!!!Can't wait to see more pictures. So glad you all had a wonderful time.

"The bruised face is from a fall N.O.T. connected to Margaritas"

    Ok, if that's your story

Seriously, glad you weren't hurt. Looks like a lot of fun!!

You KNOW I meant PV - not the fall

Slow, those pictures so much fun to view. That sunset from the deck is awesome! I'm green with envy and just waited all week to hear all about your trip. Look forward to seeing more pictures.

Gypsy, the switch plate looks perfect on Slow's wall.

What fun you guys! Love the art.

Y'all. That sunset every evening was almost worth the whole trip. There are so many other wonderful sights to see there that I just know y'all would be overwhelmed w/art inspiration. The whole town is art-filled, and makes you want to create, create, create. Oh, BTW - that shiner on my eye was covered in about two layers of makeup, so it was a real doozy. Yeah, SHRTY: That's my story and I'm stickin' to it. CRACK: That's my line too - if God wills me to live another year, I'm THERE, and I'm glad you're already planning it too, cuz if we don't dream and plan, it won't happen cuz we get too busy to stop the routine and smell the roses - or cocoanuts. Oh - that was another thing that was soooooooo enjoyable - the foods, fresh tropical fruits and ....., well, I could go on and on and on.

So glad you had such a good time!!! How could you not? Tropical paradise in the winter, good friends, mosaics...what's not to love? Take good care of yourself and get back to 110% soon.

Love your shopping love your pieces..how soon is next year???I need shop names and directions kinda for when I go in may.I just ordered some pic's like that to use..

Look how much FUN you had!! You're crosses are going to be beautiful....love the star chain, does it make any kind of tinkle or wind-chime type sound? Love your pictures but can't quite figure out what the chihauhau has to do with the religous icons, lol! He's a cutie for sure!
Glad you showed a close up of the switchplate...now I'm like everybody else and looking for the screwdriver to take some out and mosaic them!

The chihoohoo is wearing a lady's jewelry, it's just an advertisement card but found it really cute and wanted my dog(a chihoohoo) to get jealous!lol! I have the biz card of the store I got the stuff in, I'll email you.

CRACK. I gave the only bs. card I picked up to GYPSIE. You don't need addresses or names of shops. Just go to the Malacon and start out on the same street as the church. You just wander and wander and find wonderful stuff, and you never look to see the name of the shop. There are two that were my favs - within a block of the church. Everyone knows where the flea mkt. is. It's not like a flea mkt we all know and love - it's just a market place - a whole square block but it's all Mexican art. You'll go several times. And right near it is the tile factory and a glass shop where you buy those wonderful glass faces made into candle holders and other stuff. KLINGER can tell you where everything is. She was our tour guide, having been the multiple times.
