Hi all!

I have been reading a lot about some different special effect paints and I was wondring if anyone had any experience with them?

I get the technique and the result, but what I can' seem to find is the reason one would choose one of these paints over another to get any given effects. Fabulous Finishes, for example. Then there's Annie Sloan paints.

I'm looking for a "if you want this, use this because..." explanation.
