Gosh, I'm on fire with Inspiration! Here is what the butterfly project is morphing into!!! A stand up plaque, made from cement board with a pc of cement board at the back to sorta tripod it? (Will be attaching it when I've done the plaque.) I've mortared tiles and butterfly onto this cement board, gotta wait till it dries, don't know how long that will take as it's at least 1/4" thick under the butterfly. Then touch up the purple metallic paint and silicone the purple glass mini globs to it and grout black. Pics are backwards....?

Mortared the crow down and am about to mortar this stuff around it....am I manic? naahhh, just an addictive personality!lol!

The flutterby and crow are wonderful! I liked the crow before, but now he is more presentable! Those purple globs look soooo cool with the flutterby...the creative muse has hit you hard...dare say, smacked you upside the head even!! You go girl!

Lordy, child. You make me want to play today instead of bake. These are fabulous projects. I LOVE your idea of a stand for your butterfly, which turned out amazingly, BTW. And the crow. You are REALLY on fire, and I hope you keep this up. Just think of how many pieces you can have for a one-woman show. Have you considered advertising for a yard sale of art? You could invite KLINGER and another artist to join y'all for a combined show. You have some wonderful pieces. Can you tell I want you to sell for the TX trip?

I attached the back to the butterfly panel, still gotta reinforce it more, so started on this little squirrell, mortaring rocks on it. And this bunny is getting the bling treatment! I'm calling it " The St John Gypsy Bunny" Inspired by guess who? ha!

Worked on Gypsy Bunny today, looks like the fill in is gonna be mirror! I'm liking it on the face, that's for sure! I also have to make some adjustments to my butterfly panel as I put the back pc to low and now it tips the panel forward!lol! It's a quick fix tho so no worries.

Speaking of grouting...I was laying there at 5:30 this morning thinking about how to grout the Crow and butterfly panels. I want to grout both of them in black, but not the crow section, so will have to tape it off to protect it...and go slow so I'm not my usual sloppy self. And the butterfly panel, I want to even skim coat the back, plus try not to get any on the actual butterfly...looks like I'll tape some of the jewelry on Gypsy Bunny too. I'm thinking grey grout for Bunny and the Squirrell, black.
