Here are a couple of little trays I did for my Mom for Mother's Day.

If I can get this mess cleaned up, I will add it.

Oh, those are so sweeet! She's going to LOVE them. I don't quite see what's wrong with the 3rd... grout?

How Lovely!! I esp like the first one! So simple and sweet. Like cait, I don't see anything worng with the 3rd one...like how you added a 2nd rose to acccommodate the tray shape! Your Mom will love them all!

    WOW Cindylou!!

Your mom is going to LOVE those trays. They are beautiful and so thoughtful of you. Hmmm I guess I should make my Mom one.

Are those silver trays?? Did you have trouble gluing the tiles and what did you use??

The flowers DO look 3D. Great job!!

THANK YOU!!! Such a great way to start off my morning, reading what all you nice people say!
I added Future Wax (or as it's now called, Pledge Floor Wax with Future Shine) after grouting and sealing and that's what makes it sparkle and shine so.
But....on the 3rd one it really messed it up...that is suppose to be charcoal grout, not charcoal with white flecks! I spent 2 hours last night trying to get all that wax off! I did get it off the sg, but it's not gonna come off that grout! So, I think I am just going to try regrouting it this morning.
MERMAID: They are just little silver-colored trays I picked up at GW for around a $1. I just used my weldbond, no trouble at all.

Er uh, not sure grout w/go over the wax at this point. Why don't y'all just use two/three coats of the Tile Lab glossy - it shines really nicely.

I love the third one. It's not messed up at all!!!

SLOW: Funny you should mention that! I did regrout it and, so far, it's staying charcoal with just a very few tiny tiny places where probably only I can see the white wax yuck...it's not completely dry yet...I will probably spend the afternoon keeping it spritz with water....ANWAY...while I was doing that I was thinking why don't I see if tile lab had a glossy finish...and I guess it does! I'll be making a trip to HD this evening.THANKS!
