Wow!! That turned out wonderful. So much thought and care must have went into that work. I love those letters, what are they made of?? and the pix with runways, planes... your friend must be tickled pink!!!

did you frame that with glass, or is that some kind of plating ???

I made the letters and the backing for the pins out of polyclay. The pictures are sandwiched between 2 layers of glass. The "frame" is just pieces of balsa wood painted gray. I couldnt figure a quick, nice way to finish the edges. I filled in with red stained glass. There are pictures under the glass globs. I got the airline pins off eBay

It's so funny, I almost write the SAME message as above! (grin) Really though, it's so special to receive a gift that has been made especially for one's self. It's a wonderful thing full of memories, and I would have known she'd be delighted to get it. Great job!
