My best advice is to pick up some cheap teacups at GW or other thrift-type store and grab your nippers and just do it! That's what I did and I was suprised at how nice it just broke in half. Here's a picture of what I did with my broken cup. Sunflower birdfeeder

CINDI's right - you just gotta try it. Wheeled nippers work best on these, of course. Point the wheels straight down in the direction you want the break. Different materials break differently - I don't get it 100% perfectly every time, but practice makes more perfect. BTW - CINDI - I took a peek into your album, and WOW - you're really been busy since you joined us. Don't remember seeing that quilt pattern tray. BEAUTIFUL.

Awww, Thanks SLOW! It didn't turn out as nice as I would have liked, but my friend liked it and I learned that I'm not a big fan of using contact paper and then transferring it...indrect method? I think I was in too much of a hurry to take the paper off and then the tiles moved around too much. Learning, learning....

A wet saw works great as well as what Slow said.

I use wheeled nippers too. You'll find it's quite easy. Good luck and welcome!
