Hi ANNIE! I came in to post my strawberry birdbath WIP, and found THIS! I'm lovin' it, especially the flower! You go, girl!

    Roni

Thanks Roni, how would you do the flower??I think I should have put cement on it first???I e-mailed Riana but haven't heard from her...can't wait to see your progress!

OMG..just looked at Roni's strawberry and now your amazing head.......I love it......................the flower adds some sassyness and class to this gal.......I am so impressed...........going to be awesome...love it.

Annie, I THINK what I would do is: take the flower back off, concrete the head from the bottom up (since it's so large), leaving the space where the flower goes for last. Concrete the flower and the area right where the flower goes one right after the other, so you can wire the flower back on THROUGH the soft concrete. Then you can put a dab of concrete on over your new stitch(es). Yes, I think that's what >>>IRoni

    Check your email :)

Heck, looks ready to cement to me, I'm waaay to impatient to even redo things!lol! My crow panel needed a hanger on the back so I can hang it on my wall and because I was to impatient to go out to the shed and find some wire, I just used a wire laying around in my Art Room, and underwire bra wire!! lol! It came out in the wash, so I had taken both out, sad, but left them on the counter and I guess DH didn't know where they came from so he put them in my room!ha! Anyways, your head is looking great and I love the flower! These sure take time eh? Keep us posted!

THat is cool. I can't wait to get some time and try something like you all are doing.

I LOVE her profile. After seeing this, rather than trying to imagine it from your email, I agree w/LADY. This w/be very hard to concrete under the petals. Oh, rats - as I'm writing this I'm thinking you could do it from the inside. That's a great job on making a flower. I'm so anxious to see these projects mosaiced. This lady is gonna be a real doll.

What SLOW said...you COULD smoosh it through the sidewall from the inside then smooth it up under there with a table knife or rubber spatula, then do the flower from the OUTSIDE and smooth the back the same way. It could work... See? LOTS of ideas! :)

Ain't ya got this done yet? Where's the popcorn....

I'm about ready for bed but had to check the forum one last time. I'm sitting here LOL cuz I know a lotta you ladies personally now, and it feels like were're sitting together, having 'ritas and yacking. Yeah, BAMA, where's the popcorn. I have half my "Headlight" mosaiced and don't like it. So - what's new??? I don't like half my stuff until I show it to y'all. Might have pics tomorrow of WIP. I LOVE THIS PLAYGROUND. Get on w/it, CRACK! Oh, BTW - what's the status of yours, BAMA??????? Off to bed now.

I like that you're taking your time and being a perfectionist about it!! Can't wait for the update with the cement!

Found it! I figured if I checked back in the postings I would find where you had posted your head! I love the flower you attached and can't wait to see it completed. Have you cemented her yet (or did I miss that too)?
