Made this for a 60's challenge. You had to use

at least 50% of some tiles, etc. that the Moderator

sent. I used the glitter tiles and the big circles.

Love that peace sign!! I am in the hippy era, but I didn't quite make hippy......just a wanna be! Really neat hippy birdhouse.....I'm sure there are some 60's birds out there that will be flocking to nest.........great job!

Ah, I so love birdhouses. You did a great job, and I love it. Remind me after you've had your responses... which will be so much fun.... to send you a copy of the Woodstock house I did. It's over the top. I love when someone picks a topic or style, because it gets the creative thing going that we might not have considered on our own....I love your house!

Super cute! What a fun idea. daisyme, but sure to post a photo of your Woodstock birdhouse, to. Love to see it.

Ah, yes, I remember....well, I remember PIECES of the 60's....too young to really be a hippie, but REALLY thought I was groovy anyway! LOL

Very Shagadelic Baby!!! I had a babysitter who taught me how to GOGO dance, and I'd dance for my Dad when he came home for lunch!lol! I was 5yrs old and she would let me wear her GOGO boots...GROOVY!!!ha!

Peace, love and Woodstock! What a fun challenge. I love that little house!
But now I have this song stuck in my head:

I like what you used for the peace sign. Is that chain or are those beads? The front made me smile reading that you put Hippy Chick House. That is what I always called myself, growing up in the 70's.

Darlin' - all shots. Cute as can be. You and GYPSIE use those large round ceramic tiles. They really add to a piece. Looks like BBs to me for the peace sign, and you've used them in the two middle shots. I'm learning to use them in other places besides around the edges, thanks to BAMA, when we were doing switchplates on Sunday. She sat there and made a teensy design w/them and one little tile. Smarty boots - I just randomly placed squares/rectangles on mine.

Yep,BB's. Or as I like to call them when I'm grouting....
Frickin' little SOB's!! LOL! Had to get the krazy glue
out and I see I still didn't get the peace sign back in line!
Wish I could just randomly place stuff and have it
turn out at beautiful at your art! Lately, I've been
trying to do someting abstract and it always just
comes out looking like a big mess! I'll keep trying....
