This is a recycled XL microwave plate and some of the glass is recycled from this & that.

OH nice... I just got to see bald eagles and golden eagles in Montana... they were wonderful. You did a great job on this.

What a great eagle! The small triangles make really nice feathers. You did well!

I love to use those microwave plates. They make candle plates in smaller sizes that are great too.
Your eagle is great! My dh walked by and said it was pretty too!

Girlie - that is one great mosaic! Just LOOK at those colors. Just LOOK at that bird!!! What kinds of glass did you use. The blue has a purplish hint. The red is lucious. I LOVE this.

THANK YOU ALL FOR THE COMEENTS!!! I use alot of recycled glass, from all different things, my friends & family save them for me. I also purchase glass packs from a couple different places when they have free shipping sales...I think this is the "american flag" pack from glass crafters. The blue is not purple at all, that is just the cruddy grainy look in my cell camera.. lol
I went yard saling yesterday & got several really big frames, and just started (& finshed cuz I have no life) a beautiful piece as a wedding gift GOG butterflies & Dragon Fly, it has diff textures, I will post pix once the grouting is finished probably Monday. OH & a bowling ball (free) so I will work on that soon as well :>

Very Nice!!! Love the colors! I made a GOG wedding gift a few yrs ago, And it has a dragonfly on it! great minds think alike!lol! I scored a round picture frame and used it. I have no life too...am gardening and doing garden art like there is nuthin' else in life!lol! But this weekend my friend is here helping me with the pond some more...I vetoed the rock tunnel but am going bigger on the castle(Riana will be proud!)lol! Still doing a rock tunnel, just not an arched one...more stone henge looking...okay..I'm rambling...
