What an unusual and beautiful piece! I went to your album and saw a red one there too. They're really special. Do you gough out the wood pieces to accomodate the glass? I really enjoyed seeing what you do!

Really cute! Definitely a different substrate, and that adds to the interest tremendously. If you wouldn't mind sharing, could you tell us about the production steps? Can't tell from the shot, is it grouted? Very curious about the adhesive you use as well.....LOVe the effect!

I saw a picture of a table a few months back.. that was a wonderful, thick wood slab... with a strand inlaid mosaic going down through it... and your piece has reminded me of it. Your work VERY beautiful.. and creative... and..... and I may want to try something similar sometime. :)
