Aim your nippers down from the top but point them away from the handle - cut it wide at first and nip away more after you get the whole handle - I prefer the wet saw for perfection.

Well my wet saw needs a new motor so I did manage to successfully nip 3 handles today without snapping them. I've had this idea for ages doing a project with those fancy handles but it seemed like everyone I nipped would snap on the second nip.
