Joyy,you might check out the web site when you click on you r picture something comes up at bottom of page that shouldn't be there at all....you need to change it before others see it...Now i would drill tiny tiny pin holes and put little wire brads with glue in holes and put wood glue and haevy weight any place you can..goodness you have lot's of work there aleady.Annie

i'm not getting a picture either. i tried it before i posted the link and it was fine then - maybe i copied it in wrong... anyway, i've posted a link through imageshack below (i don't know why i keep continuing to use tinypic - whenever i use it, things go wrong.

oh my goodness i checked again and that picture was gone but others were there when you move down,I've never seen these just pop up before but thats the world we live in i guess.I had to look again to see if i was imagining things and there was more....anyway you got it moved so all's well.I'm sure i just peaked everyones curiosity tho..sorry.

OH JOY!!!!! That box is SSSSSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOO BEAUTIFUL. I can't see the problem, so it must be slight, but to fix it, you're right - carpenter's wood glue and either a clamp or VERY heavy weight should do it. NOW, I want to know how you made the design. I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. Did you outline each color section w/jagged mirror glass? Are you going to do more, or is this finished? It's sooooo pretty just as it is, but want to know more. This is SO lovely.

thanks, slow! i'm using the mirror as outline for different colours, like you said. i have a LOT more to go - i want it covered completely, including the legs. the crack i mentioned is just above the hinges... it's not very large or i'd have noticed it when i bought it (maybe! :) hopefully, it will fix up well.

Joyy, the chest is beautiful!!! I love the way you used the mirrors to 'outline' your design. I think that gives me just the idea I needed to finish one of my projects. I've got glass cut and tumbled but haven't glued the first piece on because I knew something was missing - you've filled that in! Love your box!

Oooooh Pretty!! I'd definitely mend the crack with wood glue. I'd hate to have it fall apart after so much work. LOVE the design. Kathy

Joy your second link for me brought up the box...the first link well...I got directed like crackpot did...I had to do a double take....thinking I had clicked something accidently!!! Thought Annie might want to know she wasn't crazy!!!

Anyhow...your box is VERY pretty..the design is really cool, I love it when people use mirror as accents. I don't have any helpful advice on the crack that you haven't already been told.What color grout are you using?
