classroom decor

Well, they've just painted my classroom (kindergarten) and I am getting ready to go in and tackle putting it back together. Of course, they don't want me to put any tacks, staples or tape on walls now that it is looking so wonderful. However, it is a Kinder class so I need a bazillion things hung up - including their work as the year goes on (I do have some bulletin boards, but not enough for everything).

Any ideas on how to hang things without damaging walls? I have this great tape called Mawvellous that is good (doesn't usually take off paint), but because the paint is so new, I'm worried.

Places and things I really need to hang things are: in a row above lockers, a large word wall, a row of about 10 - 8x10 sheets with our "attitudes," very long cardboard alphabet.

I would like to use those 3M hooks, but how? I know you are a creative bunch and look forward to your thoughts. Thanks!
