Hey, LIL is on a roll - VERY pretty and oh so dainty. What a great use for those tiles. Mine are still stacked out back in my way - gotta get w/it but gardening is in front of the line now.

LOVE the rose one! Course, I'm a sucker for roses - can't grow them worth a flip since the humidity is so high here, but I yearn to every spring!

CURB: You're only an hr. from my DD in Carrollton. You should SEE her gardens - roses all over the place. Most of hers and mine are from the Antique Rose Emporium in Brenham. They mail order from October-April. I dug up a non performer I bought in Dallas three yrs. ago, and am sooo anxious to order one from the ARE to take it's place. Antique roses are very tough roses and easy to grow. Check out their site.

Thanks for the compliments. It was a way to use up those floor tiles that were given to me. I have 3 rose bushes and I love my antique one, it is so hardy.

SLOW - Thanx for the link! I'd forgotten about them...bought some shrub roses from them 15-20 years ago. Black spot combined with the severe water restrictions of the past 3 years finally got them, tho. After looking and drooling, I'll probably try again this fall. Storms have left me with a very sunny area they'd probably love.

Forgot to mention the absolutel BEST food for them is Bayer Rose/Flower Food - it's a 2 in 1 systemic food - six weeks protection from insects, kills spider mites, great blooms. I only use it quarterly but mine are sooooo healthy. I had to take a limb nipper to them last week before I could get to them w/the pruning shears. They were out of control from neglect cuz of this mosaic disease that hit me.
