SHELLY B - I forgot to welcome you. Soooooo glad you've joined us. I absolutely LOVE that table - tiles or dishes???? The design and the combo of colors are sooooo pleasing. If you've seen my work, you know bright, brilliant color makes me happy. Yours is a happy table. Frame is nice too, and the little girl shown in the mirror is darlin' and quite the little poser. Hope she is interested in being a student of the art?

the table top is glass peices i bought on ebay some i cut some were just scraps. the rocks were on clearance at walmart for 50 cent a bag so i bought 2 bags it was originally goig to be a fathers day gift for my dad but i got new couches and it matched so well i decided to keep it and make him another. one question the white spot on my tabletop is wax i used it before i got the grout done and some wax got spilled on it somehow if i clean it off with boiling water will it leave a residue therefore making the black paint not stick?

Shelly, you could try an old rag over the spot and use a hot iron and iron the rag to melt the wax. I don't think boiling water would remove the wax, I think it would make it spread. Keep moving the rag to a clean area and it should remove most of the wax. JMO though.

SHELLY: TileLab has a "Heavy Duty Cleaner and Stripper" that says it cleans wax off stuff before sealing it.
